Ann Curry

Ann Curry has worked as an journalist for over more than 45 years. Her focus is on natural disasters and war zones. Her first job could lead to a successful job by becoming an intern in broadcasting for KTVL Channel 10 Medford. It was her first time as a female news correspondent at this station, at age 22. After that, she moved on to become an anchor and reporter at KGW, an NBC affiliate station in Portland. Then she returned in Los Angeles four years later to work as a reporter for KCBS TV. Two Emmy Awards were won during the six years she worked for TV station KCBS.
